Every so often I will suggest throwing in a ½ cup of Epsom salt in a nice warm bath to help ease muscle aches and tension.   Most people have probably heard this home remedy works, but they’re not sure why or how.  After researching Epsom Salts, I came upon this article by Victoria Abreo on the Bella OnLine website.

Throw a couple hand-full into a bath, take a few moments for your self after a hectic day, even if it is only for 20 minutes. Try Epsom Salt as a salt scrub to exfoliate, cleanse and soften rough spots.
